Cascadian Farm Organic Goodness

Thank You For Sharing Organic Goodness

“Sharing organic goodness” is a kind of unofficial motto at Cascadian Farm. We take pride in the fact that we offer great tasting organic foods that help people, like you, live healthy lives. Isn’t it amazing how many people still don’t realize that the foods they eat have a huge impact on the way they feel day to day?

At our farm, we educate people about why they should care about the foods they put into their body, and how organic farming protects our land. We teach people for their own knowledge, and also so they can share what they learn about eating healthy organic foods with their family and friends.

We recently got some great comments from our fans on facebook about how they have been sharing organic goodness. Here are a couple of their comments:

Allison from Lexington, KY:

“I just recently went shopping for a children's food program at my church. Many of the suggested items on the list were very processed foods (such as individual microwavable meals). However, I loved being able to pick out Cascadian farm granola bars and cereal to give to these children. I wouldn't have it any other way :)”

Joalyne from Cheyenne, WY:

“I work at a low-income, Title-1 school. I deal with hungry teenagers everyday. I am glad to give them Cascadian Farm granola bars when they are hungry and need a pick me up! They always come back for more so I try to provide them with coupons to purchase them themselves.”

Thanks for sharing, Allison and Joalyne! If you have a great organic story you’d like to share with us, write it in the comment box below or post it on our facebook page. Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Purely O's - I used to love this cereal but the change ingredients means I don't purchase it anymore. I wish you would go back to the less sweetened version.

Why did you change the ingredients in PurleyOs? Now that it contains sugar, my husband and a lot of other ****** patients cannot eat it. I checked all your cereals and all of them now have sugar or evaporated cane juice. It's bad enough that all these people have ****** but now it is getting ****** to find foods that they can eat. Can't you make something like the original PurleyOs for all the ****** patients in the USA?

Why has CORN meal been added to the Honey Nut O's and the Purely O's, which are clearly identified as OAT cereals? Corn is clearly just a cheap filler. For those who are allergic to corn, the original formulations of these cereals were among just a handful of corn-free cereals. I won't be buying any more of your cereals!!!

I am also disappointed that PurleyOs has been sweetened. I have to restrict my sugar intake and was really happy when I found a good cereal that was unsweetened. I also will no longer be purchasing your cereals.

I was extremely disappointed to see that you took out the Whole Grain Barley Flour and added Corn Meal and extra sugar to the Clifford Crunch Cereal. My 3 1/2 year old daughter loved it just the way it was and I always felt good about giving her something that I knew was nutritious. It was the only "***" cereal that I found that had 5 grams of fiber per serving. I wish you would go back to the original ingredients. Until then, we will not be buying it.

Please consider going back to your original Honey Nut O's without CORN. My son has a corn allergy and he misses eating his Honey O's. It would also be helpful to notify consumers when you add or change ingredients by printing "NEW" on the box. I had to find out about the change in ingredients by witnessing my sons allergic reaction.
